Piccolo Sant’Andrea is the result of the vision of Odino Sartori, a Venetian entrepreneur who, on his first visit to the Amalfi Coast, was captivated by a promontory known as Pietra Piana. A man of action and a lover of nature, he decided to transform it into a residence capable of blending harmoniously with the sinuous lines of the coast and the rock suspended above the sea.
What began as a private residence became his buen retiro, a place suspended between sea and sky, where one could be enveloped by the scent of orange blossom and the light of the Mediterranean. At the outermost point, he commissioned a light, suspended wrought-iron butterfly a support for a glass balustrade. Today, it stands as the symbol of the hotel.
The name “Andrea” is a tribute to the patron saint of Amalfi, protector of the fishermen of the “Divine Coast”.
Odino’s dream is now carried forward with dedication by his children, Igea, Bruno, Elvio and Francesco, who have turned it into an icon of hospitality and charm.
